Denver S. Moore
Denver S. Moore, 74, of New London, Ohio died on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Fisher Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. He was born on February 7, 1946 in Harrisville, WV, the son of the late Lafe and Laura (Cunningham) Jenkins.
Denver grew up in Millersburg, Ohio, spent several years in the Massillon area before moving to New London in 1978, where he has resided since. He worked for Norfolk and Southern as a railroad conductor for 24 years. Following retirement he was a driver for the Amish. He attended the Foundation Church.
Denver served in the 82nd Army Airborne during the Vietnam War and the 1st Calvary. He received 2 Purple Hearts and other commendations and awards. He was a member of the Fitchville Conservation Club, of the Roby Lodge 534 F&AM of Monroeville.
Denver is survived by his wife, Jean (Stidd) Moore; his children, Michael Moore, Christopher (Kimberly) Moore, Robert Moore, Steven Moore and Laura Moore;
