Mrs Brown's Boys co-stars hid divorce from their children for almost a year
Mrs Brown’s Boys’ Fiona O’Carroll and Martin Delaney kept their divorce secret from their children for a year.
Fiona, who plays Maria Brown in the BBC sitcom, recently announced she and her co-star had parted ways after 15 years of marriage.
The actress and Martin - who plays Trevor Brown - share four children together from their time together since meeting as teenagers.
Fiona says she still has "a lot of love" for her ex-husband and no-one else was involved in the split.
The Irish star has also revealed that she and Martin delayed making their break-up public - even holding off from telling their children for a year.
Fiona is the daughter of Mrs Brown's Boys creator Brendan O'Carroll and Doreen O'Carroll, who split in 1999 after 22 years of marriage.
A teen at the time of her parent's break up, Fiona was conscious of the impact of her divorce on her three kids.
